Jenny Leona
Theatre & Film Actress
New York, NY
A native New Yorker, Jenny Leona spent most of her childhood in Ossining, NY. Although she had a couple small acting jobs as a toddler, Jenny’s first real acting experience was at eight years old in the short film Jake; a semi-autobiographical piece about her family's experience raising a non-verbal child with autism.
It was during that shoot that Jenny realized she wanted to be a professional actress. Two years later, after moving to California, she began her formal training at the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory, and was later accepted into the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. At seventeen, Jenny was cast in the starring role of her first feature film, Cleaver’s Destiny. Six months after wrapping Cleaver's Destiny, Jenny was accepted into the Drama Program at The Juilliard School.
Since graduating, Jenny has been working consistently in theatre, film and television. Between jobs, Jenny enjoys catching up on her other interests. In addition to acting, Jenny is also a trained gymnast and vocalist with a passion for archery and stage combat.
